Dan Waterhouse is our instructor

Dan's passion for golf began at a very young age playing Golf daily at The Bend of the River GC in Hadley, NY.  Dan played four years of varsity golf for Hadley Luzerne Central before moving onto collegiate golf at Hudson Valley CC.  Upon graduation from Old Dominion University Dan was searching for a career in golf when he was introduced to Tom Smack, the Director of Golf at The Sagamore Resort in Bolton Landing, NY.  Tom offered an apprenticeship to Dan and an opportunity to learn the business of Golf.  Dan's time at The Sagamore was filled with merchandising, tournament operations as well as club repair and teaching.  It didn't take long for Dan to move through the apprenticeship and earn his Class A membership with the PGA of America.  Dan spent 11 years at The Sagamore, and it was during this time he married his wife Susan and they had their first son Matthew.   The time demands of a golf professional's life can be very demanding and Dan decided to turn in his membership and seek employment in a field where he could also be the father he wanted to become.  Although Dan no longer was a PGA member he never lost his love for golf, he built a driving range at his home and taught his family and friends the game from there as well as running free clinics at the Bend of the River GC for local youths. Dan's two sons, Mathew and Jack are now young men as well as fine golfers and he is pursuing his passion once again.  This past summer Dan was employed by the Bend of the River GC helping out in their golf operations and now brings his knowledge and passion for golf to The Luxury Box!!

$60 per hour (price includes the suite time) up to 3 guests.
